Whilst Lloyd & Partners Limited was established in January 2005, members of the healthcare team have worked together for many years and experienced, and survived, a number of hard markets.

Combined, we have well in excess of 100 years of med-mal experience. This experience has helped us steer our clients through each challenging market environment with great success. There is a mixed bag of strong personalities within the team ensuring that differing points of view and opinion are aired with the end result ensuring a favourable outcome for our clients.

We continue to grow our portfolio of accounts and handle the full spectrum of Healthcare Insured's, from academic medical centers to family-owned nursing homes, across the entirety of United States and beyond. Understanding healthcare is a passion for us as our clients navigate their own way through an ever-changing working environment. We care a great deal about our clients, and are equally dedicated to each, irrespective of their magnitude.

Whilst the majority of our portfolio is USA based, we do have important clients in other countries and strong market relationships with those insurers that offer capacity in territories outside of the US. We have been successful in placing high profile accounts originating from other parts of the world.

There is now an abundance of capacity throughout Lloyds, Continental Europe, Bermuda and the United States of America and having strong marketing ability in each domicile enables us to construct programmes that meet the needs of our clients.

In 2008 the unification of our London and Bermudian team brought matchless cohesion to the team, further paying dividends for our clients.

We appreciate that without the support of our clients, we have nothing and in this regard our independence serves us well. We work hard to support and enhance the stature of the clients that we consider our partners.

The Lloyd & Partners International Casualty team is a group of experienced professionals providing comprehensive risk solutions for a wide variety of clients from around the world. Our dynamic and forward-thinking approach makes us a leading force in the London casualty market. Our goal is to provide creative and specialist insurance programme design, risk finance and placement solutions that give our clients the confidence that their risks are being effectively and comprehensively managed in the most cost-effective way.

Our business emanates from a broad range of territories around the world. In particular we have built up a particularly strong client base from Australia, Canada and South Africa. We will primarily access the London market, and will access Bermuda and continental European markets as required and where they are competitive.
