Our established platform for programme business has been enhanced by the addition of a new and dedicated initiative led by John Smith who has recently joined us at LPL and brings over 28 years of industry experience.

Our focus is to provide independent agents, brokers and managing general agents with solutions for the handling of transactional business - typically small to medium premium risks. We achieve this by streamlining the insurance arrangements, reducing the number of times the process is "touched" and providing access to markets in London, Bermuda and Europe. Working together with our client and underwriting partners, the team will construct a facility that provides a level of authority for the majority of risks to be underwritten within the facility.

The Programme Team will be looking to maximise opportunities for our client base through its extensive Underwriter support. The team will also look to integrate all practices of LPL with specialist Underwriters that will include cross selling and packaging of product lines.

The due diligence involved in setting up a brand new programme can be extensive, but we can assist with every aspect of this process, including preparation of business plans and securing Lloyd's Coverholder status. Once established, however, the programme runs efficiently and effectively.
